Speedometer wavin' at me

as you read my speedometer is waving pretty bad at some speeds it reads 15-85 M.P.H. I was just wondering whats going on and if I can fix it
it's an 1987 5 spd with no tach

Could be the cable binding. You can pull out the cable out of the sheath and lube it up, and make sure there are no kinks in it.

that happende to the 93 my mom had. do as he says and ull fix it, or replace the cable
