Speedometer Suggestions needed

Since switching over to the 9" rear axle and this is getting closer to being done I need to start thinking of a way to get some sort of speedometer set up on the 02 ranger. Any proven ideas is definitely welcome.

Follow the wires from your 8.8 rear axle abs/speed sensor back to the transfer case. Cut the wires and re attach the sensor. Plug it into your transfer case. That is if you have swapped the stock t-case out for a manual 1354 that has the speed sensor on it.

Or some guys have cut a hole in the top of their nine inch and put the sensor in it. You also have to put a speed gear on your nine inch ring gear for it to register.
 
Thanks for that info, I was going to be doing a doubler 203/205 next year on it, maybe I will just look at going to the manual shift 1354 instead of the motorized one it has now.
