So i’m riding down the road yesterday and I notice my speedometer wasn't working. i know it was working earlier, so it just quit. The odometer also doesn’t work. Apparently there are two sensors mounted to the transmission. At this point from what I’ve read, I’m gonna assume it’s one of these sensors. I’m just not sure which one I should be replacing. There’s one in the middle of the transmission and then the one towards the rear. If anybody can point me in the right direction, i appreciate it.
This is for the 2003 3.0 5r44 trans.

Pics for clarity. They may be the same part. I couldn’t really get my head up in there enough to tell.

Alrighty. Turned out to be a blown fuse. #26 10 amp fuse on the inside panel. Controled the GEM.

I would try to find out why the fuse blew. Chase the wires and make sure there isn't a chaffed wire somewhere so it doesn't happen again.

Its a 20 year old truck, so im gonna chalk the first time up to sh!t happens. If it happens again, Ill have to look further. I hate chasing wires.
