Speedo Gear After Tire and Gear Change

I searched for an answer but couldnt find what I was looking for. My problem is I went from 3.08 gears to 4.10s and 225/70/14 to 31/10.50/15. Obviously my speedo is off now. It reads about 85mph when im doing 75. I pulled out my current speedo gear and found out it was green (17 teeth). The problem though, is that when i do the simple formula in the tech library it says I need the tan gear (19 teeth). When I use the formula based on the driven gear, it comes up with 22.6. So, which one should I go with?

I just took mine (after I swapped to a 4:10) to a place that does this. $25.00 and it is right on the money. I love checking my speedo with those solar powered speed signs....'you speed is'.... Mine is always on the mark and I am happy with that. Call a place that does this. We had a place near us called Ace that did a/c repair and speedo repairs. I don't know if they are still around anymore. Check your local 4x4 shop, Bro!!!

Im worried that they wont be able to get it right and its not that hard on mine since its a mechanical speedo so i figure i can save some money.

Just ask them about it...it can't hurt and thay won't charge you to ask, Bro!!

I may have to do that. Worse comes to worse I'll just get both of the new speedo gears and see which one gets me closer
