Can anyone tell me what gear I need on the output speed sensor for my new 32inc tires

So 7 tooth drive, 4.10 ratio with 32" tires needs an 18 tooth driven gear

Colors were standard for Ford made gears but not all gears were made by Ford, lol

Ford White would be 23 tooth, would not have been used on Rangers but the 3.27 rear axle ratio was also not common

I read somewhere that 4x4 use the same gears as a manual is this true

???

1983 thru 1997 Rangers used these gears, 2WD or 4x4, 1998 and up did not

4x4 Ranger transfer cases all used 7 tooth drive gears
Some automatics, 2WD only, could have 8 tooth

Thanks for all the help.
This why I like this fourm

Yep, why I like it too, and glad Ron is back, there's been a few oddball questions up his alley since he's been gone :), I try to keep things moving but my knowledge is somewhat narrow and random :)

Yes, the 4x4 transfer case uses the manual transmission speedo gear regardless of the transmission it's hooked to.
