Would it be worth buying a amp when I just went out and bought cheap speakers

That depends. I have done my system in bits. Head unit, then speakers, then a 4 channel amp, and now finally 2 shallow mount subs and mono block amp. If you plan on eventually upgrading your speakers then ya it's worth it in my opinion

Well I did upgrade speakers they ain't the best they were only 60 bucks for 4 and I already got a head unit

What is the rms rating on the speakers? On the hd speakers don't bother with the peak rating they will blow long before that.

What I was trying to say earlier is that if you plan on upgrading them further to a set of kenwoods or polks or a higher brand of speakers I would amp them. If you amp the ones you just bought you will probably over drive them and melt voice coils quick. If your interested and don't mind waiting a month or two I can sell you a pair of kenwoods that I have that I really like when I put components in my doors

they only got 50 RMS so not really the best...but i gotta wait till i can get new shit for the ranger cuz i just quit my job last week so i gotta find a new job
