I have an 1987 standard cab ranger. I had a extended cab before and rear speakers were not an issue. I am not looking for a big sub box to punish my neighbors with. I want to put my 6 x 9 speakers in boxes behind the bench seat. I measured the ledge behind the seat and it is six inches. How much room do I really have with the bench all the way back. I have been looking at ebay and they have some sealed boxes that seem like they will do the job but they will stick out further than six inches.

Bro my uncle custom built a sub box for his ranger reg cab similar year and it hit hard. I'll ask if he can give dimensions.

Here you go man. I guess its a start to help you brainstorm.
