hey
...so I've been lurkin' here the last few days. my keyboard is greasy. thanks for all the info to all y'all.
My 2000 xlt 4.0 was coding p0305. i changed the plugs. and still got the annoying miss. I got down past the throttle body, into the rail and got the injectors out. I can work on tractor implements but never gone this far into my own truck....fun though. had my injectors worked and eventually put it all back together and still got the missfire.
during a compression test i found two hairline cracks in #5 inside plug(new plug) porcelain. !!!! damn. all that work.
anyway, running great now, check engine light wet off by itself. great.
right now i've got autolite iridiums in there.
can y'all tell me what the factory plugs you're speaking of are?
thanks again. you guys are funny mofo's .
