Any recommendations for a made to fit spark plug wire set for my 2002 Ranger 3L engine?

I tried the Taylor made 8.2mm set and sent it back to Amazon. There was simply no way even with lots of silicon grease to install the coil pack ends on the wires.

I want a set already fabricated from spark plug to coil pack. The only decent looking set I've found is from JBA performance on Summit Racing.

Without a doubt NTK. NTK makes very high quality wires, they aren’t expensive right now but they aren’t the cheapest either. I use them on my truck and I really can’t say if they work great or not because they are spark plug wires. My engine is runnin’ so… . But u can speak for the quality of the packaging and instructions. I had no need for installation instructions, but it was idiot proof each wire is labeled too.

Anyway the ones I’ve linked are custom made to fit the 3.0l. You’ll have long ones and short ones and medium length ones too.

Do your reading I think you’ll find that NTK makes higher quality than most brands.

You must mean NGK...

In May I threw a set of AutoZone duralast wires on my 3.0L and they've worked fine so far. Only issue is they use 2 of the same long ones on each side where the OEM have 3 different lengths per side

I bought and installed an NGK set from NAPA in my 2002 4WD Ranger XLT 3.0L engine.

I am amazed that replacing the wire set appears to have solved the pesky intermittent "check engine" light misfire in cylinder #4. At least so far so good.

Replacing the coil pack helped - for a time. Replacing the spark plugs helped - for a time. There have been no codes since replacing the plug wires.

For the record, spark plug wires are still just wires, the ones with the least resistance will be the best performing wires, but unless you’re racing you would probably never notice the difference between higher gauge high resistance wires and lower gauge lower resistance wires. What will matter is the durability of the coating, as that will determine how long the wire lasts. But someone smarter than me can correct me if I got something wrong. I went ahead and bought spark plug boot/wire insulators because of how close the wire is to the exhaust manifold, so I should be set for a long time.
