Anybody know what would of caused this??? uneven plug wear...

my 2006 3L truck CURRENTLY has 130 000 Kilometers or 80 000 Miles... I last did the plugs around 70 000 kilo or 40 000 Miles!!

All 3 drivers side plugs are worn down to the nubs... all 3 on the passenger side are decent... Ive attached a pic just to show what i mean.. These are NGK IRIDIUM..

NOW i could have possibly forgotton to Gap them... thats all i can think of.... i am getting old :( and its possible i forgot to gap plugs 4-5-6.. would this cause that??

I was gonna hold off to do a full tune-up in the fall... thankfully today i had spare time and decided to do it today... new plugs and wires!!

PS: i just read NGK claims their plugs last 40-50 000 miles..... so im in the ballpark i guess.... all i noticed was a little poorer gas mileage, no loss in power etc... as i said i was gonna leave it for another 3-4 months..

Yes ^^^
Its the direction of travel of the electrons that causes that. The spark fires one plug on compression but continues thru and fires the opposing sparkplug on, iirc, exhaust. Hence wasted spark.
You need to buy double platinum or double iridium plugs. They will still eventually wear the same way, but a much much longer interval for wear.
Or keep track of which cylinder had tip wear and get platinum tip for those 3 plugs and platinum base for the other 3.

aaah, got it... K ill buy Double iridium nexttime.. wonder with the new ones my fuel mileage will noticibly increase now
