I need a spanner wrench tool for my 1990 ranger 4x4

Does somebody have a part number for me ?

Just go to Napa and ask them for one. Every Napa I have ever been in has kept the Ford bearing nut socket (not "spanner wrench" that's the 4-way lug wrench deal) in stock.

Do you know off hand what size the one a Ranger uses is? that kit contains a bunch, and one socket is certainly cheaper than 7.

The kit lists 36mm and 29mm both being for some fords, but thats not exactly descriptive...

Not the first set on the page, the second one.

just bought some new ball joint (4)
and it turn out i dont need to change them :headbang:

but i still feel like their a clok clok sound when i hit a bump and it feel like the steering is all over the place when i go down the road

could it be my bearing spindle that is demolish ? anyway im gonna put some new in will see if it improove the sound..

(they are in fact shot but i would not think the sound come from there since they dont move when im on 2wd but still i could be that)

But still ive got the change my sway bar bushing, my coil+shock+supension leaf+ my cab bushing. My steering linkage look fine just that with the old coil everything seat to low in my suspension, the hub center line is lower than the pivot point of the dana 35 arm and so im seating on the very side of the tire. so it might be that that make me feel that my steering is weird

and my wheel bearing feel good too no slack on the hub and it really doesnt sound like if the bearing are torn up (it doesnt make the soud of worn bearing) they are nice no cut or groove on the hub/bearing/spindle

tomorow if i have luck i will have my new spindle bearing kit so im gonna roll again what a job to take the spindle out of the knukle ! :icon_welder:
