Source for speedo gears?

When I called my local ford dealer, they told me the gears are no longer available from Ford. Is there another place that makes them now?

All my local dealerships have them, Ford parts too.

Call another dealership. Make sure it is bigger than a small town dealership. Most of the larger ones have those in stock.

Your dealership can also search for dealerships across the country to find the part. You will have to pay shipping to get it there, but at least you would have it.

Go to teh junkyard and find a truck same year as yours, make sure everything matches u and buy the transmission. Use the gear or swap them and sell the transmission for a little extra cash. I bought a transmission for real cheap but forgot to swap the speedo gear and my old ranger was off by 25 MPH at 70.
