sometimes wont start

i do alot of start and stop all day sometimes over 100x's a day.sometimes gotta take the gas cap off and it fires instantly. im up to date on all filters and tuning.. and gotta new cap. someone changed the filler neck @ 1 time, maybe vthat could be it?...confused!!!!
