Tell us more about the beams, please. I'm drooling over this build, since the XJ I sold earlier this year might be dropped off at my house before much longer. Either dead motor or fried rear axle. I have access to a free Chevy 350 and a rebuildable 700R4. I also have a Chrysler 8.25 in my shed. Not as good as an 8.8, but I already have it. I also have 4 and 6 inch XJ springs on hand. I can also see where this sort of project could easily get out of hand expense wise!

The beams started out as kingpin beams from a late 70s E-150 (I'm pretty sure) That's the extent of the factory parts haha every other piece is custom.

These are the upper shock mounts for the front.

Rear axle is done just need to connect the dots to the chassis for the 3 link and shock mounts
