I never understood the apeal of going to a brewery or distillery. Its like going to a box factory, I don't need to see how the box is made I just need to put dead batteries and assorted lengths of wire in the box. But then again I don't consider drinking to be a social or even pleasurable activity either. Real men drink cheap burboun alone in the basement! And they do it because being drunk is better than being sober and for no other reason!

No problem. We have different opinions.

The distillery is local and I may or may not find their products where I live. I enjoyed tasting some of what they have. I'm out sightseeing and enjoying a different place from where I live. Its fun for me. I didn't intend to get drunk. That is rarely my goal. Though I am pretty close to it right now because neither place served any substantial food.

And for those coming to the trail ride, I bought something to share. F*** it. I'm on vacation this week. Yee-haw!!!!!

Back when they first came out my wife, a nurse of 40 years, looked up the ingredients of the McRib. She then, under threat of violent bodily harm, forbad me to ever eat one.
They were apparently made from what one would call the "waste" parts of a pig, not something you would eat.
I guess it's like week old roadkill....add enough spice and flavorings and you could make it taste like a rib eye.
