some stole my damn cat

The stolen cats was a big thing around here about ten years ago but never hear about anymore i'm sure it still happens thou. I actually had a integra out next to the garage just for parts a father son team showed up and asked if they could get the cat off it I didn't care. They had a cool rig set up and pulled up next to my car hooked up to it, lifted the side of the car cut it off and put the car back down in less than 4 mins. and they was gone. I was amazed.

Edit: Oh, the other kind.

had my mustang gone through a couple times, last time they did, they pulled my sub box out, it had 2 10" mtx's and a 12" crankenstine with a clarion purple series amp on the side (found out that my amp is worth about 1000$) but didn't touch the car, the motor, or the deck in the dash...

time before that, they left said subs and amp, went through my center console, emptied a bottle of tylenol i had, on the passenger seat (most of it atleast) opened those white plastic tubes i had, from primetime cigars, which were empty, and took my radar detector... other than that, nothing was taken... time before that, they stole my 5" monstertach with shift light, deck, and 2 5x9" speakers in boxes bolted to the back seats (hatchback) they booted the boxes open, and took the bare speakers out of the inside... smashed the window to get in

back home (where i am right now actually) the big thing used to be stealing your insurance papers, no idea why... they wouldn't take your car either, and the paper isn't worth anything to them, but it costs like $15 to replace, and is a 300$ ticket if you don't have it (IF you get the ticket, though i never did, getting pulled over more than 10 times without the paperwork)

Holy shit $15 bucks to replace what insurence company do you have. Between me and my wife we had several insurence companys. Always is free to get replacements, my wife has a tendency to loose hers for some reason. We have Progressive now and they had them to use the next day.

With the way things are now, theives are going for almost anything not bolted down or they find an easy way to get it. Stealing A/C units for the copper is a big thing here. Theives will try to target A/C units on the outside of the fence. Use a recpo saw to cut the lines and just lift the unit up into their vehicle. One daycare place had theirs stolen. They replaced it and had a cage installed around the unit. Theives came back and got the A/C unit again. This time, they cut the lines and ripped the unit and cage out with their vehicle.

Another theift that will be increasing again is stealing the gas out of gas tanks. Remember when theives would slid under a vehicle, drill a hole in the gas tank and take the gas. I suspect that crime will be raising again with the price of fuel.

insurance coropration of british columbia (ICBC) the province i lived in had registration and insurance rolled into 1, it was government run, and standardized... there was no competition for pricing, as EVERYONE had to have their liability insurance through ICBC... it was very cheap for people who had gotten into an accident or two, or was a younger driver, and not so cheap for the 40+ year drivers... where i live now, is much cheaper for anyone over about 21 years old, but is gender biased and age biased, i know people who are paying like 140$ a month, for insurance on their car, their truck, their 4x4, their motorcycle, their trailer and house... total, where as i pay 270 for just my truck because i was 24, however since my birthday on wednesday, it has dropped to 180 (provided i were to cancel and renew)

combination of me being 25 (huge price break) and my most recent accident is 1 year old now

hey the jester guy...kind of not cool

he's not just one guy, he's a whole race of people

And this sort of thing is the reason why when my one good friend started telling everyone that would listen that I was a crazy lunatic redneck that would shoot you and bury you in the yard for coming near my stuff, I didn't bother to try to convince people otherwise.

Those who know me know whether that is true or not.....

yeah, you're pretty whacked...:icon_rofl:

lol IT IS NOW!!!!

A couple years ago, we were getting all the cats cut out of our work vans. We couldn't leave them outside. It was nice though because it was the winter so we didn't have to worry about cleaning the snow and ice off. :yahoo:

I also thought you were talking about a kitty... Even into the post, I was thinking someone cut your Jeep to get your pet cat out.. I wondered why, then I read on
