hi all, I know this might seem like it should be in the regional forum, but I think any exposure is fine. I am a senior in half moon bay California (bay area) and am doing a project on ranger based Baja trucks. this project consists of some actual work, participation, and interviews of people in the profession. my problem/issue is that I don’t know anyone who works, or even is extremely active in this field. I was wondering if anyone knew of any Baja fib shops in the bay area that might be able to let me get an interview. if anyone has any questions or suggestions let me know.
my larger goal is to create something similar to Aaron Matthew's "not all there" ranger and even further into the future actually work in the industry, but first I need to finish these last few months of high school. also I do know a thing or two about fabrication, like welding (all types) using a mil (my dad does this professionally and has his own shop) and how to layout and actually fabricate something tangible.
thanks for reading , ken
