hi guys, my bro recently purchased a 00 ext cab ranger, it has the 2 small doors in the ext cab, which is so cool, but every time the truck leans to the passenger side(right side) the door ajar comes on, how can we fix this? maybe adjusting the door latches?, some one once told me that was a issue when u have those 2 doors, the front doors dont secure like the normal cab. my reg cab had the drivers door making some bumping noise, and we adjusted the latch a bit to the inside, that way the door has more pressure to the inside when closed, and seems to fix the issue, can we do that to the ext cab?
#2 the airbag system beeps in 5 beeps intervals when u start the truck, according the owners manual, its because the system is not working properly, also the airbag light wont lit in the dash, or the passenger airbag light(were u turn it off), the airbags are there, but we dont find the sensors in the front, behind the grill, were supossed to be, is that the reason? can they be fitted again?
#3 the is no seatbelt light, but that is not a big deal
#4there is no check engine light, is possible that the bulb is burned? some tricky dealers here unplug the check engine so when u test drive u dont see any issues or engine warnings, i want to believe that the bulb isnt working anymore, canthey fail, and be replaced?
#5 we need a tach!!! its a vulcan 3.0 v6 and it doesnt has tach:annoyed: i read its a replace and plug swap?? we want the explorer sport trac white face gauges:icon_thumby: i hope we can do this very soon and works properly
#6 the power locks sound and slightly move as if they work, but they dont work, the truck has factory security system, but the door locks wont work are they dead? maybe an electrician can fix em, if not we are going to replace em
the important issues re the check engine and airbag system, any help greatly thanksfull!!:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

It sounds like #1 is the common problem that is fixed by WD-40ing the crap out of the latches.

yeah i did it, but when u lean to the door, it lights the door ajar warning, so maybe adjusting the door is needed
anyone with suggestions about the rest:icon_confused:

thanks GSU!!:icon_thumby:
