Well i was at the store the other day and see a 5 channel 700watt amp and 10'' sub for 100$ new... figured id try it, dp i got it all installed,
Bought 3 Rca Cables
1 High to low input converter box, that turns the front and rear speaker outputs to rca lines
And some power and speaker wires.
I already had 4 6x9 300W(per pair) speakers in the doors i ran al lthe wiring, some threw the a pillars and plastic molding along the headliner, some under the carpet, most of it look factory and clean, front speaker wires go threw the door like stock then up the the a pillars threw the cab.
Rear go right threw the back and under the carpet in the bottom corner of the cab,
the 3 rca lines are on the pass side, power wire is ran threw the a pillar and threw the roof molding on drivers side, ground ran under part of the carpet and then under my rubber floor matt to drivers seat for ground, sub sits on dirvers pass seat and i left the wire visable so i can move it,
This was my very first audio setup and total invested is the following
100$: Sun and amp
40$ for power and speaker wires(good for 1000W)
30$ for rca's and hi to low converter
80$ for the 6x9's
and 150 for the Deck
All in all bang for the buck is definately there and im happy with the result so far, the amp has hi and lo pass filters for the front and rear speakers and some adjustment and the sub has gain control...
Now the pics!
