What is the plug in the driver side manifold called? Mine fell out...things got loud

Usually holes like that are just called "bung holes" they can be threaded or not

If threaded then you will need to find a short bolt with correct threads, they are usually NPT threads, i.e. pipe fitting threads
If not threaded then a Core plug is often used, like a "freeze plug", to seal the hole, you tap/hammer in a replacement of the right size

These holes were used for EGR Valves

Thanks, just the info I was looking for!

Nice, I had the same problem and used a 22 mil oil plug. The hole is for the deleted egr system that was in the 86 and 87
