Solenoid Fender Mounted

Hi,
just got from Advanced with a new Solenoid for the my 93 ford ranger. However, it has four terminals on it instead of three! WTF?

Should I just match the old ones with the new ones and leave the fourth one off?

This is more or less what my old one looks like:

And this is what my new one looks like:
(Although one of the small post is also copper on the one I have)

Any help would be great.

That's a "universal" aftermarket replacement that will fit a bunch of years, some are 3 post, some are 4 post...........just use the post that works for you!
