I sold my sled pulling 2001.5 dually 4x4 Cummins diesel 2 weeks ago....
O-Rings, head studs, water methanol injection, 200hp injectors, Industrial Injection 66/71 turbo, billet input, south bend dual disk clutch, traction bars, 150gph fuel pump, edge timing, tst fuel, brand new 10 ply MT's, stacks, diamond plate everything possible, 2nd new 5spd trans, ats ehaust manifold, 1/2 in fuel lines, full gauges, and I'm missing a few things in there.
She was my first diesel.... and prolly last, my daily driver, burnout contest winner, redneck chick magnet... prolly had 30k invested in the whole rig.
And looking back, what the hell was i thinking when I cried signing her over!!!! i lost money yes, but I exploded 3rd gear launching at 40psi, or lifted the head (not after o-rings and headstuds though) everytime I ran it on spray full tilt or broke 65psi!!!! i got out from under that money pit... I loved it yes, but it just never ended, now a gasser truck, I wouldn't spend that money on for anything.
I still have my first running car.... lol. and my first truck is sitting in a field with a tree growing through the bed (for sale 88 ranger, 100 bucks, engine runs trans is dead)
A vehicle, first or last is just rubber and iron man... don't let it get you too bad.
