Softening ride while maintaining ride height?

I'm looking to soften the ride of my 01 Ranger XLT to better absorb road shock. However I don't want the truck's ride height lowered by using springs with a lower spring rate. Does anyone know of a company that makes softer springs that are longer/taller to compensate for this?

I've been dealing with that problem myself.......if you remove the front shocks & hop up/down on the bumper....it'll be as smooth as can be....

so....maybe you need car shocks on the front end....

I also tried adjustable air shocks instead of gas shocks....the ride is much smoother...but you have to check the pressure in the shocks every week...it lets you adjust the ride height an inch or two up or down also....$90 bucks a pair........for good ones.....check my build thread.
