i chopped off my muffler today, it sounds great, nice and throaty. but while i was under there i noticed that after the muffler, there's what look like a resonator, then a cat, then it hits the y-pipe. on the driver side of the engine is what looks like another resonator, then the o2 sensor.(time to gut the cats
. on the passenger side is what looks like another cat. all of these covered by heat the heat shrouds, even the muffler.
my point being: which is which? short term it would be easier to just gut the cats for some more volume. my long term goal is to go straight pipe from the headers im getting, to an x-pipe, then from the x pipe to dual glasspacks, then two tips out the back. but that takes more money than i have right now.
if someone could help me out with that i'd appreciate it
