I was watching this video and thought to myself, how cool would it be if this was a 1st Gen Ford Ranger and it was filmed in the USA? They filmed this in Australia because the setting was a better fit for the Subaru Brat Ute.

But anyway, it's a Subaru Brat.

I'd like to see this done with an all-wheel-drive or mid-engine 1983-1988 Ford Ranger.

Now...... go build it.

Ya, but I miss Ken Block. It's hard for me to get into Gymkhana without Ken Block behind the wheel.

This Brat is an all-steel tube chassis race car, but Pastrana has a 1985 Subaru Brat that's pretty bad ass that involved putting the Brat body on a Corvette and going to salvage yards and buying fenders with the right flare and look and grafting them onto the body. The rear fenders are actually 2005 Ford Mustang fenders mounted backwards.
