The coolest thing, I had a reply about the mirrors and we got to talking. The dude is building a 76 highboy, total restoration and he ended up giving me a guys number who has everything I need for years for the Bronco II.
I'm new in the city I live in. Only been here a week and it looks like I have already found people to go wheeling with.
So I'm going to drop the mirrors off tomorrow, and make sure they're going to work for him because to the best of my knowledge Ranger/Bronco II mirrors are smaller than the full size truck ones.
Either way I'm stoked to go see the truck the guy is building. It's frame is fully painted, 390FI in it, fresh blue engine, black truck. Fenders/hood rad support not on yet.
So the number he gave me- I feel like I might be able to source a 2.8 to have rebuilt and then just do a quick one day engine out, new engine and clutch in project.
The only downside to this, is that when I have a prospective parts lead like this, my overactive imagination goes into high gear and I can't sleep. Haha
