Can I drive without the back hatch on my shell?

What are you afraid might happen if you do? :shok:

The wind ripping it off or heavy pulsating in windy or even normal conditions. Yes I do have it tightly secured to the bed. I have seen many shells on the side of the road, maybe they were't secured properly? The reason I'm asking is I could not find any info about it on the web.

If it's in good sound condition and secured properly, there shouldn't be any problem. It would take some extreme wind to blow it off.

Won't blow off

But if it rains the rain will be pulled inside shell, getting stuff near the back wet
