i have a 86 Ford ranger and it needs to smog. i just did a full tune up including the o2 sensor but it just barely wont pass smog is there any tricks?

make sure the cat is nice n hott go for an hour drive before the test and straight fom the drive into the smog station trust me it helps

Probably get a new cat would work if everything else is in order.It really sucks at least here in Norcal because trying and failing cost money too.

There is a fuel additive that will help,I forget what it's called though. Just ask at the parts store.
