My credo
If it can't be fixed by me, matches and gasoline will fix it....
I have a 1990 Ford Ranger 2wd that has the A4LD transmission.... When I was under it a few evenings ago I noticed a small leak on my transmission.... The leak is a seepage coming from around the shifter arm (not sure that's what its called, but that's what I'm going to call it).... I'm assuming it's some sort of O-ring that's on the shaft that the shifter arm attaches to.... If anybody understands what I'm talking about, please shed some light on the situation.... Wondering how hard it will be to fix that seepage....

It’s a common seep and can be repaired. Cost would out weigh the benefit unless you were rebuilding anyway. There is no quick fix other than stop leak products but I don’t have much faith in those type products.
