Has anyone run into a Sloppy Locker?:
I bought a used POWERTRAX@ LOCK-RIGHT Locker off of CL with a Bronco carrier(I don't know the year)for a $150, after installing it I found (bad) axle sloop rotating the wheels.
So I called "Richmond Gears" and they said this was do to to large of gap in the locker, cause was probably "NO Thrust Washers".
There was NO Thrust Washer in the carrier I bought so I ordered some off the dealer in town And they said they don't use Thrust Washers with the 7.5" rear-end with locker or Limited slip(I replacing the slip for a lock).
So has anyone else run into SLOPPY LOCKERS them self's?, and whada do about it?.
THANKS TO ALL FOR ANY NON-SLOOPY HELP
