ok i have a 91 extended cab that had the rear slider, the cab is gutted currently and i would like to swap to a solid window. i have removed the slider it was bolted in. i know the solid windows are held in by the gasket and not bolts. can i just pull a solid window and gasket out of another truck and pop it into my opening? also what years are compatible. ive searched the tech sections and not come up with much. any help is appreciated

did you ever figure it out? I have a solid window out of an 89 ranger and its the bolt in style. I could sell it to you unless you already found one?

IIRC, 83-94 regular cab, 83-92 super cab, are all the same window.

^^^ both are correct just make sure you get new butal tape for the window to seal it or it will leak. ask me how i know.......

the truck never made it, I shaved the firewall and some guy offered me $700 for the cab. so it got sold and the rest got parted out. I did end up getting a solid window out of a 92 in it right before it sold. working on a 93 explorer 5 speed now. mostly stock. for now....
