I just figured out my perfect job. I want a job were all I do is sleep and watch TV. I wonder if there is some type of study I can be a subject like "T"he long term affects of inactivity upon the human body. Why didn't my high school guidance counselor ever mention the TV, sleep job?

HAHAHA thats what im going to school for, lots of time spent drinking coffee and watching gages, occasionally switched up with brief moments of chaos and panic. But hey, thats why they are gonna pay me the big bucks right, to know how to fix the problems.

You don't want that job. Seriously. That's all I did during winter break and it gets old reealllly fast, trust me. I got really sick of it after only about a week. I would, however, like to have a least one day like that really soon, I've been so friggin busy and stressed with school I think I'm gonna have a stroke or somethin soon.

be a substitute teacher at a public school

half of em just read or sleep

what about being a security guard at a nuke plant in pa?

That would be great. Then I could drink on the job also.

Something about being "on duty" bothers me. You can do an eight-hour shift from 10pm to 6am, have nothing going on except trips to dump used coffee and just the fact of being on duty is stressful--especially with a nuclear reactor humming away nearby. I wouldn't want the job of the guy that is supposed to wake up the president either. The job needs to involve no responsibility whatsoever.

I sit at a computer all day and watch 'The Office' and eat Doritos, does that count?

close enough. Or you could be a scientist studying the mating habits of rats with a government grant. Or global warming...

but a fleet of trucks and hire a CEO to run things ....... then you can spend your days sleeping and watching TV. Has to be a big fleet ......... like JB hunt

Based on personal experience....
1. Security guard. Preferably at a gate checking trucks in and out of a plant and not having to actually watch people.
2. Patient aide at a psychiatric hospital or extended care facility.

Government grant on the mating habits of the northwestern ground slug.
