Slave cylinder line pops out

My quick connect popped apart on my 1994 4.0 2wd 5speed ranger. I can clip it back together but it just pops apart again. Master cylinder isn't very old, does this mean the slave is broken or stuck?

I blead the system and had someone push the pedal when I was under there and it just pops apart under pressure.

Pull the rrans and change the slave or is there something else to try?

Use a dental pick and remove the clip from the quick connect fitting on the slave cylinder and bend the little fingers inward a bit. The clips probably just aren't engaging enough.

It does click in nice and seems like it has a great hold on it. I will try it tomorrow and see what happens.
