i have a 1990 ranger 2.3 4 cylinder and i bought a new slave cylinder, how does the bearing go into the slave cylinder. also how do you bleed the clutch system. and when i install the new slave cylinder what is the procedure for filling the clutch line and slave cylinder with brake fluid?

can someone answer my question please cause i need to know how to do this

Not sure about the bearing installation since I've never done the change...but if you got the quick release out as you were trying to do in an earlier post, that prevents drainage from the master...when you reconnect the line it will release fluid into the slave and you can then crack the bleeder valve on the slave and have someone pump the clutch and add fluid to the reservoir as needed...when the flow comes out of the bleeder close it, check to see if the clutch is engaging...then bleed once more...should do the trick...

But I guess you'll have to get the slave installed first...

You take off the throw out bearing, (you push and twist and it should 'pop' off) then unbolt the slave. Two 10mm bolts.

You need to keep the resovoir full, and pump the pedal. Then with the pedal down, loosen the bleeder valve, repeat that untill you no longer get any air bubbles. Make sure you tighten the valve before letting off the pedal.
