I have BDS 6" springs right now. The BDS website has them rated at 410 ppi. Am I being mislead? I keep reading that SJ RBV 6" springs are softest on the market also at 410 ppi.

BDS COIL SPRING SPECIFICATIONS

Part# 033602

Diam. 0.718

Rate 410

Length 20.00

I.D. 6"

I don't think you're being mislead if they both are the same. But regardless, 410 is still a little bit on the stiff side, especially for the lighter Reg Cab trucks and the BII.

If you want coils softer than those, you'll need to look at non-RBV ones such as for an early Bronco or Jeep XJ or ZJ Cherokee.
