in your experience are the use of additional front coil spring spacers or spacer plates needed when installing the skyjacker 6inch liftand skyjacker coils? Ive got everything torn down and just want to know if i need to be ordering or installing any additional plates other than the stock seat and retaining hardware. do you recommend that i just go ahead and install a day star or equivalent coil seat? part numbers/websites or links would be appreciated .. this is for my 88 ranger.. using the skyjacker lift and also installing dana 35.. dont know if this makes a difference
thanks
Liam

The real thing to know is what size tire you are planning on running. With a 33 inch tire, you can run the skyjacker 6 inch kit as is, if you are running a 35, you may need to trim the fenders some, or install a spacer. If you take a look in the tech library there is a lot of information available on what spacers work, or what washers at the hardware store work.

.. i will be running a set of 35's til they run down..and eventually i will be getting some 37's. the truck has fiberglass fenders from perry's fab and fiber so tire rub shouldnt be a problem.
thanks again
