Did a quick search and didn't come up with anything but are they the same ppi as the 4-6" ones and also about how much lift do you think they would lift a 4 door explorer?

Thanks: Steve

So it should be about 6" then since the 6" will give about 4.5" and these have a little less ppi. Right?

And also thanks for all that info.

A buddy of mine has the SJ 8" coils on a Supercab Ranger w/4.0L (probably the heaviest RBV in terms of frontend weight). They sit right at 17" tall with weight on them which was almost the perfect height for a set of 6" lift axle brackets.

Where they to tall or just tall enough for the 6" brackets?

Read again, they were pretty much perfect for them.
IIRC, I think his camber bushings are set around -0.25° or so (they might even be 0°, though it's been a few years since I did any messing around with his truck). Regardless that's pretty close to dead-on.

A 4-door Ex I suspect is a hair lighter on the front axle than his S/C Ranger, so you might be looking at a -0.5 to -0.75° camber correction for yours, but it should still be very well within usable range.

You said almost, I was just wondering if we were actually gonna get 6" or a little more/a little less. It's gonna be an off road toy so it's doesn't have to be aligned perfectly we just wanted at least 6" of lift to match a spring over without big spacers.

Well, there is considerable leeway where aligning it is still possible... "Almost" was simply referring to being close to the ideal of needing a 0° camber alignment bushing (no correction negative or positive).

I would expect the coils to be maybe ½" taller than that ideal on a Ex of normal weight & 6" brackets, requiring the slight negative camber correction I noted above.
