I am thinking about putting the Skyjacker 136RHK 6” kit from Summit on my 93 XCab XLT it has the 4.0 and it seams to have a some kind of factory block under the rear leaf about 2” I think.
Now the question how much lift will I get in the front with this kit?

you will get 6 inches in the front but dont use that rear block stack blocks is just stupid get the lift leaf springs too

Actually with a 4.0L Super cab truck, you will get around 4.5-5" of actual lift.

^^^ are correct the extra weight brings it down some. i would get some 8 inch coils or spacers to put in there too so it will give you more lift even when the suspension drops

Sasquatch Ryda Thank you! You confirmed what I though. I was thinking about a 4” lift but I did not think it would give me a true 4” so bigger I go. LOL
My plan is putting the front and rear pre runner fenders on it with 35”

I'm running the 6" skyjacker coils with a 1 inch spacer under them and i'm sitting right at 5" of suspension lift. That is with a heavy bumper and winch hanging off the front end tho.

I'm running same 6" kit on my 94 scab. stock bumper and 1" spacers on front put me a 5.75". the rear springs in my kit are labled 4" springs and use the factory 2" block. You'll also want to get the Extreme drop pitman arm, the one in the kit dosn't drop enough. and watch shock choice, I had to add a spacer to keep mine from rubbing against the extended radius arms. Good luck

THX guys! You have been a great help. I now know what to work on getting.

Sasquatch_Ryda,
I have an engine setup question? I am thinking of setting up my motor with Hedman Headers 89400, MagnaFlow 23388 Cat, Flowmaster Can, MSD Ignition 31119 Wires and ACCEL 140035 Coils. I have a K&N filter on now, but I am thing about drilling 5 1” dia holes in my air box and putting a pre-filter liner on the inside of the air box lid for more are flow.
So what do you think? I think I will push 33” up a hill.

Plain and simple you need proper gearing.

Those engine 'mods' aren't going to amount to much more than a lighter wallet.

I'd spend the money on gears.

I like doing engine mods, will I need to re-gear it to? I think it has 4:10 in it and that is what I have in my CJ and I have 33 on it.

Engine mods are optional, but regearing for the bigger tires is a must. Without regearing you'll just be lugging the engine, and guzzling more fuel because of it. Mods to the engine would only make it worse.

With 35" tires on your 4.0L V6 truck with Overdrive transmission, you'll want 4.88:1 gears for sure. 5.13 might be even better if you won't be spending a lot of time on the open highways.

And 5" out of that kit on a Supercab might even be a tad optimistic. I barely got 4.5" out of mine on my reg cab Ranger with winch and large dual batteries under the hood). I'd count on 4-4.5" lift unless your existing springs are sagged a bit, then maybe 5".

yes, I plan on taking some nice trips in it, so yes i will be doing highway driving And my bike is 500lb and it will be in the back on some trips. So the 4:88 would be best? And 4 - 4.5 is just fine by me. I will still need to get my bike in the back.
