i just got my leveling springs for my truck. already have adjustable camber/caster bushings. im installing the springs on thursday and have an appointment to get it aligned on friday afternoon. but ive done a little research and found that the springs settle after installation. my question is that if they do settle how long does it generally take and aproxamitley how much will it throw the alignment off? thanks for any help!
btw: 96 4.0 extended cab

On my old 93 4x4 It settled about 1/2 an inch. I had my alignment done the very day I installed the springs and they were never able to adjust it within specs. I was just a hair off. After 12-16 weeks it settled and then I had it re-aligned. They didn't even play with it because everything fell into spec beautifully. Maybe I got lucky, who knows. If you are worried about your investment, look into the life time alignment deals. Usually more upfront but you can take it back and have it played with for free.
