Looking for a way to protect my radiator,I knowone of these days im gonna put a rock into it wheeling.

Thinking about just getting some 1/4 inch plae and attaching it it to the front cross member and the bumper support.

Thoughts?...what do you guy have protecting your radiator?

Pics of current front end? I'm not sure what idea you have in your head.

Just a 98 ext cab with a 3 inch body lift...and the valence is taken off.

That's awesome...I assume some plate welded along the seems?

How much in material?

I don't know, I had a buddy that worked at an fabrication shop and we did them afterhours. It isn't that much material, one big piece and some smaller pieces for the sides

Seems simple enough.

Does it slide over stuff,or dig like you described about the t case skid?

the front slides, the transfer case would dig down because it isn't tapered up like the front skid. If I had to do over I would design the transfer case skid a little different but I have more height now so really don't have the problems like I did before with bottoming out

what about my new skid?
