Is there a way to get a single wipe out of the wipers? I imagine there's a chip somewhere that controls the intermittant wipes, but is there a wire somewhere to add a switch to get a single wipe?

Just turn intermittent on and then off
You will get 1 wipe

The wiper control module is above gas pedal on the firewall
Diagram of wiper wiring below

Easiest would be to access wires at multi-function switch connector

The dark green(DG) wire from multi-function switch to wiper module activates intermittent when it has 12volts
The brown/white wire(BR/W) activates Low when it has 12v
You could probably add a momentary contact button to send either wire 12v to activate wiper motor for 1 wipe, don't cut the wire just add a splice to give it 12v when you want a single wipe

Thanks for the diagram. I thought it was all in the switch unit.
