What Tranny and T-case were matched up with a 400 in a 78 full size Bronco?

It's too caked with dirt to find part numbers right now.

if it is a manuel then you most likely have the NP435 with a married NP205, i have seen a couple with borg warner 4spds but only a couple

if its an automatic then you got either the fmx with married 205 or the c6 with the married 205.

agreed. i also believe the 205 is the only t-case in them stock.

yes, the 203 was never put in broncos from the factory...had a couple divorced 203's from highboys though

who me?? well i never pulled them, i just had a couple trucks with them, but i do have a divorced np205 taking up space in the shop...not sure if im gonna use it or not...kinda in the process of liquidating my fullsizers...i got 2 rigs for sale and im trading a 3rd...

I'm going to sell the tranny and keep the t-case. Might find some way to incorporate the 205 into the ranger build some how.

IIRC, the fmx never had the BB bolt pattern, so if its an auto its a C6.
