it's a Sig 1911... can't really go wrong, except it's probably pretty dang expensive
I want the Springfield EMP 1911... which probably cost just as much lol

MSRP on that is $1356

MSRP on a normal 1911 $1099
if you go to the "extreme" or "nightmare" its $1256 or so...

Oh yeah, that new U.N thing there passing to ban small arms is ridiculous.
Gosh 1911's are expensive! The cheapest I ever saw one was $349, now its $850. I'm not sure if the Sig always cost that much, but I would wait for things to cool down, and maybe drop in price before you buy.

I shot a friends sig last week I really enjoyed it.I think the Sparton thing is past good taste but to each there own.

The only pistol I really see you getting the bang for your buck with that sorta money would be a .50 AE Desert Eagle, a used one will run you about that much.
