At the end of the week I will be buying a 2002 Ranger pickup. It comes with a cap, bedliner and a set of side rails. The rails are OEM. The problem is that there is no hardware with the cap or rails.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I will need to attach the rails and cap. I think the cap is being held on by C clamps at the moment.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Generally caps are held on by "c-clamps" I believe so that's prob normal

When you say side rails, do you mean the OEM tube side steps? What is missing? The brackets? Bolts? Everything?

.

If you mean bed rails, they should just attach to your stake pockets...

These are the bed rails, and there are no bolts or clips to hold them in place.
As for the cap, it is being held on my regular 5 inch C clamps. I thought there should be some brackets or clips to hold them in place.

Thanks snoman, that is the kind of thing I was looking for.
I suppose I will be able to get the hardware for the side rails there as well. If not I guess I will try the Ford Parts department and pay 3 times too much. LOL

also, when you put the cap on it, you need to seal it with a flat, wide type of weather stripping, like on this page

under camper shell/tonneau cover foam tape

you don't have to get it from the website, i've heard you can get it from home depot, and I went to a local bed liner installation place and they had a couple rolls of scrap they sold me for $5

Thanks Crane, the previous owner has already installed some sort of weather strip on it. He mentioned it when I saw it with the cap. I just don't like the look of the big 6 inch C clamps he has on it.
I guess most people remove the stock side rails for aftermarket ones. I pick the truck up this afternoon, and then I will be able to get a better idea what I need. For sure I will probably be painting the cap red to match the truck.
