it'll be OK under the front spring mount, there isnt much movement of the leaf spring at that point. just give it a few inches clearence and you'll be fine.

ok cool thanks ya im goin to do that i jsut need to get like a tight 45 bent cuz that pre bent ones u can buy are to long

that ain't bad for 15 bones... still not quite my style, I'd like to just pull the hood off, and have some pipes comin' strainght outta the manifold, hot rod style, that'd be cool! Probably not so good for the windsheild though :3gears:

my whole exhaust system cost me very little. $110 to have the stock cats cut out, and one high-flow put in its place, and later on it cost me $167.34 to order Two Magnaflow 3 1/2" tips, about 6 feet of pipe, the glasspack, and the labor for installation.

FWIW, my company truck which is a 97 F150 6 cyl 2wd 5 spd has the factory pipes on it and it is routed out before the pass rear tire. Ford had problems with that set-up cause the condensation from the exhuast pitted the RR rims. but it was still factory

my original true dual setup cost me under $100 for all the pipe (straight and pre-bent sections), 2 glasspacks, all hangers and clamps, and 2 chrome tips.

of coarse it had crush bends, developed a new leak at a different clamped joint about once a month, and only lasted about a year and a half before the cheap, thin-walled pipe rotted and fell off . the secont time around was professionally installed with thick-walled aluminized pipe, mendral bends, and welded joints.

thats actually pretty unique, I like it.
