Yeah, I have tried to get stuck. I'm not even 18 yet, so i haven't had that many chances. I have however went mudding in my uncle's field right after the spring thaw. There was a huge low spot in the middle of the field with like 2 feet of mud/water mix. Both of my buddies got buried. It was awesome. One guy had a 1500 4x4.... Moron tried to do doughnuts in the middle of the low spot. The next guy had a Bronco and he tried pulling out the 1500 and he got stuck. The only problem was that we couldn't get the tension out of the strap. So, we had one more strap left. I hooked that to the front tow hook on my ranger and tried to pull both of them out... yeah... right. Not gonna happen. Anyways yeah, luckily my uncle had a Caterpillar Challenger. I called him up and he brought that up on the field. It was really funny because the kid with the 1500 had his truck in reverse and the challenger was pulling them both forward. Best time ever. That is until i was ready to go. Finally broke the transfer case well, half broke it. The chain now has way too much slack in it. So i need to get that fixed. No 4wd in the snow... the fun wears off fast.

No pictures though still haven't found that camera (dropped it in the field i guess)

Did this yesterday... I was heading out to the lake to screw around on the ice, but barely made it out the yard. It's nothing major, but it still got stuck. After removing the snow from under the frame and front axle, it was relatively easy to get out.

nice ranger nonetheless

This is when I buried my 91 explorer in a bottomless pit. The pictures don't do it justice! My front end was sunk so bad my stock intake sucked water (yes muddy water) and hydro locked the 4.0h. And mud was packed into the starter so bad that it wouldn't start.

My buddy in a dodge tried to pull me out and got stuck. So he had to be extracted too.

After I got towed to a friends house I pulled the plugs and drifted it backwards in Reverse to flush most of the water out. Then I Wet/Dry vacuumed the muck out of the air box, intake tubes, and the intake manifold. Drift started it and drove home. The next morning I replaced the starter with one from my parts rig.

Here is a few of mine from the years.

Yeah, didn't know that under that 3 inches of snow was a half inch of ice and 2 feet of semi-frozen muck. Hooray for the previous owner putting smaller than stock tires on it.

It's just not Todd. There are quite a few from that area on this site. Think it has something to do with all the snow and cold. I've even heard they drink a lot up there. Average snow it like 240"?
