Ford must have started loosing confidence in rangers right around this time, so many of the 5th and 6th Gen's have factory tow hooks. my 3Rd doesn't have a one, and has never needed it

My 2002 XLT:

I've been thinking of taking the steps off this one since I got it, but they do keep stuff off the rockers. The rockers on my '01 were all chipped up. I've been trying to wear the tires out so I can get a slightly larger AT tire, but they wear like steel. They are Firestone Destination HTs. Boring as hell, but they are lasting.
