I have a 94 ranger and I am about to buy rims for a set of 35 12.50 r 15s. i was looking at rims and cant find any with the right hub bore beliving that it is 70.3 or something like that. now Im asking if the rim has a larger hub circle than the stock rims and still has the right lug pattern and backspacing and such will it work and be safe?first question is 15x8 the best rim size since i have seen the same tires on a 15x10 rim no prob. Here is the rims that I was looking at and I also want to see what you have trying to stay away from soft 8s and all the rims that everyone has. post away!:headbang:

I've always wanted a set of those but to me they are too nice for a truck like mine lol. To nice to wheel with. I don't like the look of the soft 8's, but I do have the other cragars. The cragars are nice because they are cheap to replace if bent while wheelin', and they aren't too flashy. I have 15x8 with 3 3/4 backspacing. The tires are 33x12.50x15.

As long as they are conical seat (yours should be) it won't really care what the center bore is as long as it goes over the hubs.

I have a set of $75 swap meet special 15x7 alloys's with 4" backspace. They look perfect with my 31's.

If I could get the d slots in charcoal or gray so you could actually see them I might go that route... especially since 15's are going the way of 14's. As it is unless the light hits them right you can't tell what they are... my biggest gripe about black wheels.

Wow, Broke. That's the same thing mine has right now.. Don't try to put those with 295/50r15s on a stock 2wd "88 tho. It rubs in the front. That whole truck is about to go though. You know what they came from?

Your probably not looking for something as mundane or narrow (6.5-7")as these. Lincolns, crown vics, Grand Marquis all had them--cheap, and they fit over the hub. I'm going to get a set of the Merc. center caps and cut a hole in the front for the hubs--and then the lug nuts will be covered.
