They guy said it worked good when pulled.. but there is a little bit of gunk and what appears to be dirt and small rocks... Is that clutch plate material? Fluid didn't smell burnt. There wasn't really anything in the filter.. I really don't want to pull it apart if i don't have to. I'm wondering if just a flush would be good enough? idk, thoughts?
thx.

Run a magnet thru the fluid and see if it pulls metal flakes to it.....if there's a ton in it, might want to rebuild. I was in a similar place a few months ago and ended up having mine rebuilt. Further inspections showed worn out internernals even tho my filter was clear and my fluid although not much in it, didn't appear burnt. How long did thus thing sit for?

been sittin for about a year

well i was just gonna put a banner kit in it myself, still might idk...

Looks like dirt got in through dip stick tube hole while being removed or sitting around. Wash out the pan and turn the converter over and drain it and put it in.
