I really really really hate my drop in liner. Its noisy, floods(holds water), I can't clean it well do to the water AND it will ruin my bed. I want a spray on but a herculiner may also do nicely. I have a few questions if y'all will be nice enough to help me

1. How idiot proof as herculiner? I mean can you possibly screw this up?
2. Can herculiner be applied in AZ summer, meaning 110-118 degree heat.
3. How well will herculiner hold up? I work and residential mold remediation and need to lug ladders, industrial vacuums and airscrubbers
4. I have tiedowns that I use for loads thats part of my drop in(Its what holds it in). Can I bedliner over the plastic surface because these im keeping?

jsut go get ur self a raptor por kit. its a DIY spray in, my dads bud did his truck with it bout 5 yrs ago and it looks brand spakin new and hasnt chipped off at all and he usually hauls rusty ass sharp parts its only like $100 for the kit with gun, check it out online

You don't want a roll in.... if you can help it at all.

Just my opinion.
Everybody that has one that lasted doesn't use it....... and then they fade, flake, and suck.

Spray in is the only way to go.

thanks frank I'll take your advise

+1 for the spray-on, buddy of mine used it on his rocker panels and that stuff stood up to tipping onto sharp rocks. Sheet metal dented before the liner even scratched or chipped :icon_thumby:

like i said the raptor por is the best deal for your money on spray in, 5 years of hard abuse and it looks brand new after he washes it off im gonna do it to my truck this fall if i get sum cash

you've probably decided already but Hercurliner for me is amazing. Simple too!

Step 1: Scuff bed with a 3M disc or anything.
Step 2: Clean everything and Mask nearby paint
Step 3: Apply
Step 4: Cure overnight
you can apply any temperature. But for Arizona heat you might need to move a little fast. The stuff is pretty thick for 1 coat. It will definetly hold up to everything you want to throw at it. It's all in the prep.:bye:

Line-X

I debated using Herculiner, but thought I would want to put numerous coats on, since I used my bed for hauling rocks when I lived in Tucson. Decided that the cost of about 6 or 7 coats of Herculiner was the same as paying for Line-X. I used the shop on West Ft. Lowell, and was not only impressed by the service and their professionalism, i have yet to nick, scratch, dent or mar the liner. Hope that helps.

This is me subscribing to this thread. My brothers been looking for a spray in and I want this as a reminder for me to check in on this "Raptor POR."

U-POL RAPTOR Truck Bed Liner, might be easier to find if you actually know what your looking for.

Anyways, I'm a huge fan of this stuff (though I still have a drop-in liner)
Hood, wiper cowl, roof, mirrors, sides, and flares

Mask Everything! It's very important to wrap everything that's not getting done, and wrap it tight. My wheels were were covered with plastic bags and the stuff still got on them.
